Assistant Engineer

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include preparing drawings using AutoCAD, conducting site inspections and assessments, performing calculations and preparing design reports, coordinating projects among clients, government authorities, consultants, and contractors, and overseeing site supervision and testing & commissioning. The role also involves project management, including site supervision, cost control, resource planning, and ensuring workmanship meets contract standards. Additionally, responsibilities include tender estimation, preparation of installation programs, shop drawings, progress reports, and submitting payment applications. The assistant engineer will handle the purchase of equipment and materials, monitor project status and progress, and liaise with subcontractors and clients. Conducting testing works on-site, including construction materials testing and structural investigations, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of quality plans and site safety supervision plans, are also key duties. The position requires participation in project meetings and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
