Assistant Engineer

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include carrying out testing works on-site, including construction materials testing and structural investigations, and assisting in analyzing test data and preparing reports in the office. The role involves designing Building Services Engineering projects, performing calculations, preparing drawings, and coordinating projects among clients, government authorities, consultants, and contractors. Site supervision, testing, and commissioning are also key duties. The assistant engineer will assist project teams in implementing building sustainability and energy consulting projects, providing technical support for energy audits and building energy code compliance. Additionally, responsibilities include conducting computational modeling for energy, daylight, solar, CFD ventilation, and thermal comfort, preparing technical reports, presentations, and other project deliverables, as well as coordinating project team activities and attending project meetings. Other tasks encompass tender estimation, preparation of installation programs, shop drawings, progress reports, and submitting payment applications, as well as purchasing equipment and materials, and ensuring site coordination and supervision of sub-contractors. The role also requires overseeing project management aspects, including cost control and resource planning, while ensuring compliance with contract standards and timely project completion.
