Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include participating in various local and overseas commercial, residential, and institutional projects as part of the HKIE Scheme A graduate training program to develop a career in Building Services, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering consultancy. The role involves assisting in the design of building services engineering systems, including engineering calculations, air-conditioning, plumbing and drainage, fire services design, electrical design, analysis, and CAD/BIM drafting. Additionally, the responsibilities include performing early-stage preliminary cost estimation of M&E systems, dynamic cost control throughout the project lifecycle, overseeing tendering, subcontracting, and procurement of equipment and materials, and engaging in contract administration tasks such as payment, VO approval, and final account management. Maintaining cost and contract ledgers and developing a comprehensive budget database for the M&E system are also key duties.
