Project Engineer

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include preparing service proposals and delivering presentations to customers, supporting and managing sales activities, and coordinating site activities with subcontractors while managing timelines. The role involves effective project management of maintenance and construction contracts, particularly at Hong Kong International Airport and for Government and Railway projects. Responsibilities also include preparing specifications for tendering, evaluating and selecting contractors, and coordinating with clients to plan and schedule work while ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards. Additionally, the position requires preparing site progress and testing reports, monitoring subcontractors’ performance and site safety, and participating in tendering procedures. The role includes planning and preparing documentation for new installations, procuring materials, supervising installation progress, and attending site meetings. Regular site inspections and preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and layout drawings are also key duties, along with conducting regular progress assessments to ensure timely project completion.
