Assistant Engineer

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include the design and development of electrical thermal and control equipment, sizing, circuitry design, calculations, and engineering drawings. The role involves PLC-based control panel development and implementation, on-site support including troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning, and tender estimation. Additionally, the responsibilities encompass the preparation of installation programs, shop drawings, progress reports, and submitting payment applications, as well as the purchase of equipment and materials. The assistant engineer is also responsible for site coordination, supervision of sub-contractors, and attending site meetings. Other duties include conducting acoustics measurements, data collection, and interpretation, preparing reports, performing field measurements and inspections, and participating in product development processes. The role further involves assisting project teams with green building design and environmental planning, providing technical support for sustainability studies, conducting on-site measurements and computer simulations, and preparing documentation for various green building certifications. Finally, the assistant engineer is tasked with maintaining relationships with teams, clients, and suppliers while ensuring proper administration of documentation and related procedures.
