Project Engineer

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include project planning and coordination of lift and escalator installation works and modernization projects, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The role involves regular reporting on project status, highlighting potential problems, and participating in site activities with architects, consultants, builders, and site supervisors. Responsibilities also include timely submission of drawings for approval, coordinating materials handling, storage, and distribution, and reporting unsafe site conditions. The Project Engineer will liaise with site supervisors and subcontractors for site arrangements, follow up on project quality issues, and manage project development from design stage to mass production. This includes handling product cost evaluations, performing feasibility studies, and gathering and analyzing requirements. The role further entails assisting in project submissions, planning, and scheduling for specific projects, conducting site surveys, providing on-site supervision and technical support, and undertaking additional work duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
