The common responsibilities for this position include assisting in the full range of company secretarial and administrative duties for private companies registered in major offshore jurisdictions and Hong Kong. This involves organizing and preparing papers for Board, Board committees, and shareholders meetings, preparing statutory filings, and maintaining proper statutory records. The role also includes preparing annual/interim reports, announcements, circulars, ESG Reports, and SFO filings, as well as handling compliance issues to meet corporate governance and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the assistant will draft simple legal contracts, proofread legal documents, assist with insurance renewal and claims, manage meeting scheduling, general coordination, travel arrangements, and provide administrative support to the department. Conducting research, project work, and ad-hoc projects as directed is also part of the responsibilities.
