The role involves providing comprehensive legal and administrative support to solicitors, organizing client material information, and maintaining information for international clients. Additionally, the paralegal will translate documents between Chinese and English, support work for other departments, and assist with client onboarding and file management. Responsibilities also encompass providing legal support services on corporate client matters, including corporate finance transactions, compliance, and mergers & acquisitions, as well as assisting with due diligence, verification, and preparation of correspondences and transaction documents. The paralegal will complete checklists, manage data rooms, and attend calls and meetings, while also preparing and maintaining transaction files, proofreading and redlining documents, and organizing conference calls and meetings. Other duties include coordinating logistics during pre-closing, closing, and post-closing phases, preparing closing memoranda and documents, and performing general office duties while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
