The common responsibilities for this position include supporting Accounts Payable by preparing payments and vouchers, processing daily data entry, handling a full set of accounts, managing daily accounting paperwork including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and invoicing, and using Excel to process a large volume of invoices and related data. Additionally, the role involves assisting with invoicing, issuing purchase orders, document filing, scanning, and data organization, as well as following up on basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and providing general office support. The Accounts Clerk may also learn additional work areas as arranged by the company and complete other tasks assigned by the employer and supervisor.
