Additionally, the assistant accountant will gather and organize documentation for internal and external audits, maintain organized filing systems for financial documents, and respond promptly to ad-hoc requests from management and other departments. Collaborating with team members to improve processes and ensure compliance, as well as handling financial data entry into the accounting system and maintaining the general ledger, are also key responsibilities.
