The common responsibilities for this position include conducting audits to ensure compliance with regulations, preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing tax planning and compliance, providing financial consulting services, and assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. The intern will assist with organizing and maintaining audit files and documentation, perform data entry and ensure accuracy of audit records, assist in the preparation and distribution of audit reports and presentations, conduct basic research and gather information for audit projects, and provide general administrative support to the audit team as needed. Additionally, the intern will learn and adapt to the firm’s approach and methodologies, perform selected procedures under supervision, prepare appropriate documentation for assignments, and assist Seniors in various client assignments in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The role will involve handling or participating in small to large sized audits, primarily for clients adopting HKFRS, and engaging in various types of audit and other engagements.
