Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include testing current products and identifying deficiencies, suggesting solutions to product problems, investigating product quality for improvements, and planning, creating, and managing the overall Quality Planning strategy. The role involves collaborating with the Product Development team for consistent project execution, identifying quality assurance process bottlenecks, and overseeing continuous improvement projects. Additionally, it requires collecting quality data, identifying key KPIs for product quality, and preparing and presenting reports and metrics to Senior Management. The responsibilities also encompass reviewing requirements and specifications, conducting test analysis, verifying quality against web and mobile platforms, and monitoring quality assurance metrics such as bug summaries and test results. The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for scheduling testing activities, creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, defect tickets, and reports. Other duties include improving and tracking customer feedback, supervising product field performance, controlling external failure costs, writing 8D reports on customer analysis, conducting customer audits, overseeing product certification, managing factory inspection testing, and handling monthly and weekly reporting along with other tracking matters.
