The common responsibilities for this position include providing administrative support to postgraduate programmes, vetting admission documents, supporting admission exercises, drafting policies and guidelines, writing administrative papers and reports, assisting in the planning and implementation of postgraduate programmes, serving as Secretary to Boards and Committees, mentoring junior ranked staff, and liaising with programme management personnel, departments, and external bodies. Additionally, the role involves providing administrative and executive support to the Research and Development Office, conducting statistical analysis of research data, processing internal and external research grant applications, performing proposal reviews, supporting the development and enhancement of the online system for research grant applications and management, monitoring projects and databases, rendering secretarial and executive support to committees, organizing meetings, events, functions, and visits, managing and updating the website, and supervising supporting staff.
