Teaching Assistant

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include conducting various teaching activities such as tutorials, laboratory sessions, in-class discussions, and field trips; providing support for fieldwork and outreach; assisting in the preparation of course materials and managing administrative tasks; offering online consultation and addressing student inquiries; invigilating examinations and marking assignments; building relationships with students to provide timely support and coaching; organizing and promoting student activities; assisting in implementing projects related to student support, including mental health and academic advising; coordinating student visits for outbound learning opportunities; collaborating with various programme teams and university units to enhance integration of student support services; and preparing plans and reports to communicate the impact of student support initiatives.
