Assistant Environmental Scientist

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include visiting monitoring sites to conduct outdoor monitoring and sampling for environmental qualities such as air quality, noise, water quality, and air-tightness. Completing electronic monitoring log sheets on-site to record results and observations is essential. Additionally, processing and analyzing monitoring results at the office or home is required, along with preparing brief monitoring reports based on the analysis conducted. Optionally, the role may involve assisting in maintaining wastewater treatment systems and in the maintenance or assembling of monitoring equipment.
