Assistant Environmental Scientist

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include visiting monitoring sites to conduct outdoor monitoring and sampling for environmental qualities such as air quality, noise, water quality, and air-tightness, utilizing hand-held equipment. It involves completing electronic monitoring log sheets on-site to record results and observations. Additionally, the role requires processing and analyzing monitoring results at the office or home, as well as preparing brief monitoring reports based on the analysis conducted. There is also an option to assist in maintaining wastewater treatment systems and to perform maintenance or assembly of monitoring equipment if interested.
