Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include learning and supporting the development of climate risk assessment tools for underwriting and portfolio management, assisting the Peak Re Event Response service by collecting and analyzing meteorological information on real-time events, drafting event descriptions, and conducting relevant event modeling as necessary. The intern will provide ad-hoc analytical support to teams preparing for meetings, presentations, market studies, and reports. Additionally, the role involves designing an appropriate database structure, assisting in compiling documentation for ECOVADIS, ISO14064, and SBTI Audits, and collaborating with the ESG team to understand their requirements. The intern will provide technical support for air quality sensor calibration, undertake outdoor fieldwork including transporting sensors and supervising equipment installation and maintenance, and manage data processing and validation. Responsibilities also include conducting literature reviews and experiments related to circularity technologies, assisting in waste management projects, and providing administrative support such as data entry and meeting preparation. The intern will support client communication, conduct fieldwork and on-site inspections, assist the sales team with client support and coordination, and help manage and update the client database while conducting research on ESG trends and financial markets.
