The common responsibilities for this position include supporting the investment team in managing and monitoring the existing investment portfolio, preparing periodic investment reviews, conducting due diligence on fund partners and prospective equity co-investments, and performing comprehensive research on companies, industries, and macroeconomic trends. The intern will analyze financial statements, valuation metrics, and market data, develop and maintain financial models, and monitor portfolio positions while providing updates to the investment team. Responsibilities also include creating presentations and reports summarizing research findings, collaborating on strategic projects, tracking market trends and economic indicators, assisting in preparing product due diligence materials, drafting weekly market views and investment memos, attending investment meetings, and conducting research on hedge funds and alternative investment vehicles. Additionally, the intern will participate in simulated trading exercises and support the development of investment presentations for meetings.
